Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

240 °C

Additional information

In an experiment, it was shown that bis(2-ethylhexyl) hydrogen phosphate decomposes below the boiling point at 240°C. The original report is not available, but it is reported that the boiling point of bis(2-ethylhexyl) hydrogen phosphate was determined by Differential thermo analysis (DTA) at a heating rate of 5°C/min in a glass ampule.

Further, several data on the boiling point are available for bis(2-ethylhexyl) hydrogen phosphate. But as they are obtained at pressures of 0.015 hPa and 10 hPa, they are not relevant for assessment.
