Key result
Water solubility:
>= 0.6 - <= 10 000 µg/L
Conc. based on:
test mat. (dissolved fraction)
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
6.3
Details on results:
The water solubility was determined for three components of the UVCB substance, each of them showing a different solubility in water: < 0.6 µg/L, < 6 µg/L and up to ca. 10 mg/L, respetively.

The concentrations of the test item in the different test solutions were calculated automatically using the equation of the calibration curve. The results for the duplicate analyses are listed in the following table:

The determined concentrations show some variation within and especially between the runs. However, for this mixture of glycerides this has to be regarded as acceptable.

To allow for these uncertainties, the water solubility has to be given as the range from <0.6 µg/L to 10 mg/L.

The water solubility was determined at 20 °C. The pH value of the collected aqueous fractions was 6.3.

Description of key information

Water solubility range: from < 0.6 µg/L up to ca. 10 mg/L at 20 °C, pH = 6.3 (OECD guideline 105, column elution method)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The water solubility was determined for three components of the UVCB substance, each of them showing a different solubility in water: < 0.6 µg/L, < 6 µg/L and up to ca. 10 mg/L, respectively.
