After data point 10 at 83 °C the vapour pressure balance was cooled to 73 °C and degassed for 30 minutes. The vapour pressure was subsequently measured again at 73, 78 and 83 °C and further at 88 and 92 °C.

Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of the test item was calculated to be 2.7E-05 Pa at 20°C, 6.5E-04 Pa at 25°C and 3.5E-03 Pa at 50°C.

Executive summary:

In the current study the vapour pressure of the test item is determined according to Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.4. Vapour Pressure, OECD Test Guideline No. 104 (2006), and OCSPP Test Guideline 830.7950 (1996).

The vapour pressure balance method was used. Taking into account the geometry of the vapour pressure balance, physical data of the test item and the evaporation rate Δm/Δt the vapour pressure is calculated.

The vapour pressure of the test item was calculated by interpolation and extrapolation of the measured vapour pressure curve for the temperatures 20, 25 and 50 °C. The vapour pressure of the test item was calculated to be 2.7E-05 Pa at 20°C, 6.5E-04 Pa at 25°C and 3.5E-03 Pa at 50°C.
