Results and discussion

Relative self-ignition temperature (solids)
Key result
Remarks on result:
no self ignition observed under the test conditions

Any other information on results incl. tables

No exothermic effect of the test substance was observed. It demonstrated that the test substance is “not a self-heating substance”. According to the guideline, no further testing was required.

After the experiment, the test substance appeared to have been unchanged.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The self-heating temperature of L-Lysine Monohydrochloride was determined by Test 1 of the Modified Bowes-Cameron Cage test.

Based on the results obtained, the test substance is considered “not a self-heating substance”.
