After ingestion:

Only as long as the patient is fully conscious: wash mouth and have the victim drink copious

amounts of water (often vomiting will be induced). Consult a physician immediately or call for

an ambulance and show label.

Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed: Treat symptomatically.

Exposure controls / personal protection

This substance is exclusively used as an intermediate to be consumed in a chemical reaction for the synthesis of other chemical compounds.

During its lifecycle the substance is handled under strictly controlled conditions and is rigorously contained in accordance with Art. 18.

Based on the knowledge of the basic hazards to humans and environment technical, organizational and PPE measures are taken to minimize release and exposure of this substance. National regulatory requirements for the handling of chemicals are also fulfilled. Employees are regularly trained. The efficiency of these measures is controlled e.g. by workplace measurements. In case of deviations these measures are adapted.

General protective measures: Observe the usual precautions for handling chemicals

Respiratory protection : Effective dust mask.

Hand protection :

Chemical resistant gloves e.g. PVC/ Nitrile rubber gloves.

Take note of the information given by the producer concerning

permeability and break through times, and of special

workplace conditions (mechanical strain, duration of contact).

Eye protection : Tightly fitting safety goggles

Body protection : working clothes

Stability and reactivity

Stable under normal conditions.

Disposal considerations

Product:

In accordance with local authority regulations, take to special waste disposal site or special waste incineration plant

Uncleaned packaging:

Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
