Justification for classification or non-classification

To the best of knowledge, the corrosive properties of Ethyl difluoroacetate have not been thoroughly investigated. According to the supplier, Ethyl difluoroacetate is corrosive and therefore needs to be classified as corrosive to the skin, Cat.1B (EG 1272/2008) and R34 (EEC 67 /548) due to analogy reasons. This classification will be maintained.
