Additional information

On the basis of the available data, "Sulfonation products of (esterification products of C9-11 (branched and linear) alkyl-(mono-, di- and tri-)glycosides with maleic anhydride) with disodium sulfite", when released into the environment, will mainly distribute into the aquatic compartment, where it is expected to rapidly degrade by biotic pathway. In the aquatic environment, however, the substance is not expected to bioaccumulate in the aquatic organisms, and it not represent a cause of concern. Basing on its high solubility, "Sulfonation products of (esterification products of C9-11 (branched and linear) alkyl-(mono-, di- and tri-)glycosides with maleic anhydride) with disodium sulfite" is expected to have a high mobility in soil.
