Link to relevant study record(s)
- Endpoint:
- relative density
- Type of information:
- read-across from supporting substance (structural analogue or surrogate)
- Adequacy of study:
- key study
- Justification for type of information:
- Testing for CAS 55184-72-0 is covered by tests with CAS 848588-96-5. Both substances are very similar since they differ mainly in the share of C13 (CAS 848588-96-5 C13> 80%; CAS 55184-72-0 > 95%). Hence, read across from CAS 848588-96-5 (source) to CAS 55184-72-0 (target) is considered as appropriate for both substances.
- Reason / purpose for cross-reference:
- read-across source
- GLP compliance:
- no
- Type:
- relative density
- Density:
- 1.044
- Temp.:
- 20 °C
- Remarks on result:
- other: The relative density is dimensionless
- Executive summary:
The relative density of Sodium bis(C11-14-isoalkyl, C13-rich) sulfosuccinate was determined by Frischmann (2012) in a Klimisch 1 non-GLP study according to EC A.3 and OECD 109 by using the pycnometer method. The test item has a relative density D420 of 1.044 which corresponds to 1.044 g/cm ³.
The results of this test are considered to be relevant and reliable for the assessment.
