Endpoint:
relative density
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
2013
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.3 (Relative Density)
GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
pycnometer method
Type:
relative density
Density:
1.326
Temp.:
20 °C

Three independent measurements were performed at 20°C with following results:

1.355; 1.355; 1.358 g·cm-3

The mean value was : 1.356 g·cm-3

The density °C was determined to be of 1.356 g·cm-3(=1356 kg/m-3) and the relative density is 1.356.

Executive summary:

In the non-GLP Klimisch 1 study from (Frischmann 2012) the density of Aspartic acid, N-(3-carboxy-1-oxo-sulfopropyl)-N-(C16-18 (even numbered), C18 unsaturated alkyl) tetrasodium salts was determined according to EC A.3 at 20°C using a pygnometer. The density was determined to be of 1.356 g·cm-3(=1356 kg/m-3) and the relative density is 1.356. The obtained value is considered relevant and reliable
