Description of key information

For skin and eye irritation, no animal studies or data from in-vitro test with inorganic mercury are available. However, one negative dermal irritation study (w_Renoldi_1997) was identified with treatment of rabbits with a test item (MISCELA HY-TQS, a Ti-Hg, Cu-Sn Zr-Al alloy) containing 24.8% mercury.
Information form accidental exposure in humans indicate a potential to cause acrodynia, dermatitis and conjunctivities in exposed subjects .
