Thermal Stability

The test item showed two endothermic effects in the temperature ranges of 110 °C to 160 °C and 220 °C to 330 °C, respectively. An exothermic was observed in the temperature range of 350 °C to 400 °C with a mean decomposition energy of -100 J/g.

Effusion method: Vapour pressure balance

The vapour pressure was measured in the temperature range of 43 °C to 73 °C. The measured vapour pressure values together with the measured temperatures are listed in Table 2.

From the measured data points of the vapour pressure curve the constants A and B of the Antoine equation can be derived by regression of the data points to

A = 10.1754

B = -3619.13

C = 273.15.

The vapour pressure of the test item DMPSA-K2 calculated by interpolation and extrapolation of the measured vapour pressure curve for the temperatures 20, 25 and 50 °C, according to Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.4. Vapour pressureand OECD Test Guideline 104 (2006) is shown in Table 3:

Final Results
