Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Because the registration substance has predicted Koc of 1.5 L/kg sorption to sediment is expected to be low. Based on this fact sediment ecotoxicity tests are not warranted (exposure considerations) and the PNEC sediment freshwater and marine water is derived from the PNEC freshwater and marine water with the Equilibrium Partitioning Method (EPM).  The statement given above fulfills the requirement for waiving as given in 1907/2006/EC  Annex X Column 2, 9.5.1: "  Long-term toxicity testing shall be proposed by the registrant if the results of the chemical safety assessment indicates the need to investigate further the effects of the substance and/or relevant degradation products on sediment organisms. ".
