Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Reliable short-term toxicity tests results are available for freshwater fish (Danio rerio), invertebrates (Daphnia magna) and algae (Scenedesmus subspicatus) for the registered substance (CAS 352230-22-9). The relevant short-term values are:

Fish: 96-hour LL50: >100 mg/L (nominal, WAF loading rate) (highest concentration tested); mortality of Danio rerio, in accordance with OECD Guideline 203 (Fish, Acute Toxicity Test).

Invertebrates: 48-hour EL50: >100 mg/L (nominal, WAF loading rate) (highest concentration tested); mortality of Daphnia magna, in accordance with OECD Guideline 202 (Daphnia sp., Acute immobilisation Test).

Algae: 72-hour ErL50: >100 mg/L; NOELR: ≥100 mg/L (nominal, WAF loading rate) (highest concentration tested); effects of the submission substance (CAS 352230-22-9) on growth rate of Scenedesmus subspicatus, in accordance with OECD Guideline 201 (Alga, Growth Inhibition Test).

Long-term tests have not been proposed, even though the substance is poorly water soluble, because long-term aquatic toxicity is not expected above a log Kow of 8 (see Section 6.0 of IUCLID and Section 7.0 of the CSR for further details).
