Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test substance is with high probability not acutely harmful to aquatic invertebrates. No acute toxic effects occur within the range of solubility.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A short-term toxicity test on aquatic invertebrates has been conducted according OECD 202 and GLP (Springborn Laboratories, Inc. 1998). Due to the low solubility of the test substance water accommodated fractions have been used. After 48 h no acute toxic effects could be observed up to the limit of solubility. The EC50 was determined to be above 0.019 mg/L (mean measured) and the NOEC was determined to be at least 0.019 mg/L (mean measured). No attempt was made to test at higher concentrations, since this test was conducted at exposure concentrations which were at or above the limit of solubility.

Therefore, the test substance is with high probability not acutely harmful to aquatic invertebrates.
