Conclusions:
Ferbam presented the following particle size distribution: 0.54% were > 1.190mm, 39.49% were between 1.190 and 0.500mm, 30.74% were between 0.500 and 0.250mm, 21.94% were between 0.250 and 0.106mm, 7.19% were between 0.106 and 0.053mm and 0.14% were < 0.053mm.
Executive summary:

This study was conducted to determine the particle size distribution of Ferbam. This assay was carried out by sieving methodology, using sieves of 16, 32, 60, 150 and 270 mesh. 100 g of homogenized sample of Ferbam were transferred, to a sieve system, in two replicates. After shaking for 20 minutes, samples were removed from the sieves, weighted and the granulometric distribution determined by size. According to the results the product Ferbam presented the following particle size distribution: 0.54% were > 1.190mm, 39.49% were between 1.190 and 0.500mm, 30.74% were between 0.500 and 0.250mm, 21.94% were between 0.250 and 0.106mm, 7.19% were between 0.106 and 0.053mm and 0.14% were < 0.053mm.

Description of key information
