STABILITY AND STORAGE CONDITIONS OF TEST MATERIAL
- Storage condition of test material: In darkness at room temperature - Key result
- Flash point:
- > 50 °C
- Atm. press.:
- 97.3 kPa
- Remarks on result:
- no flash point - measurement carried out until boiling temperature
- Interpretation of results:
- GHS criteria not met
- Conclusions:
- No flash point was observed up to 50.0 °C (corrected value).
- Executive summary:
The determination of the flash point of the test item was performed in closed cup and according to the Commission Regulation EC A.9 method and ISO Standard 3679 (March 2015).
No flash point was observed up to 50.0 °C (corrected value). Indeed at 50°C the test item was totally evaporated.
The boiling point was found to be 47.7 °C in a reliable OECD test.

No, the test was evaporated. |
At 50.0 °C, the test item was completely evaporated before the presentation of the flame. thus the test was stopped and therefore no main test was performed.
As a conclusion, no flash point was observed up to 50.0 °C.
Description of key information
One reliable study is available. In this study, the flash point of the test item was determined according to the EC A9 method of the Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 and the ISO Standard 3679 (March 2015). This study was GLP compliant.
As a result, no flash point was observed up to 50.0 °C. Indeed at 50°C the test item was totally evaporated.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
