Additional information

Due to the low solubility and complex nature of the test item, for test media for investigations of short-term aquatic toxicity were prepared as a Water Accommodated Fractions (WAFs). Given that the toxicity cannot be attributed to a single component or a mixture of components, but to the test item as a whole, results were based on nominal loading rate.

Conclusion on classification

The test item is not readily biodegradable but exhibited no toxicity to fish, Daphnia or algae during short-term testing at loading rates far in excess of water solubility. As such, classification is not required under the terms of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
