Additional information

Supporting study. The test procedure was OECD Guideline 211 (Daphnia magna Reproduction Test). The results were as follows: The EC50 and EC10 for parental mortality was found to be 87 and 55 µg/l, respectively. The final result for this study is therefore based on the reproductive output, weight of adult daphnids and on parent body length values of 25 µg/l. Actual chlorite concentration 15.02 µg/l.

This study fails to reach the reccomended reproduction per adult daphnia. This was caused most likely by the study directors choice to keep the algae concentration fed to the Daphnia low.
