Description of key information

TDI-Urone is considered to be a relatively stable substance as it is not inherently biodegradable and is not liable to rapid hydrolysis at pH 4 (t1/2 = 257 d at 25 °C). The hydrolytical degradation is faster at pH 7 and 9 with half-lives of 33 d and 55 d, respectively, at 25 °C. TDI-Urone shows high water solubility (23,200 mg/L) and low lipophilicity (log Kow < 1) hence also a low potential for adsorption to soil, sediment and sewage sludge.
