Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
Category 2 (irritating to eyes) based on GHS criteria
Conclusions:
Mild irritation effects were observed in rabbit eyes after 24 hours of exposure to 2,5-dichloro-4-(3-methyl-5-oxo-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)benzene-1-sulfonic acid.Hence, 2,5-dichloro-4-(3-methyl-5-oxo-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)benzene-1-sulfonic acid can be considered to be irritating to eyes.
Executive summary:

An eye irritation study was conducted to evaluate irritation potential of 2,5-dichloro-4-(3-methyl-5-oxo-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)benzene-1-sulfonic acid.500 mg of the test chemical was instilled into the eyes of rabbits and effects were observed for 24 hours.
