Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The proportion of test item having an inhalable particle size of less than 100 µm was determined to be 4.02%. The test item was therefore considered to be essentially non inhalable.

Additional information

The particle size distribution of the test item has been determined by a study designed to comply with the European Commission technical guidance document “'Particle Size Distribution, Fibre Length and Diameter Distribution'” (June 1996), which satisfies the requirements of OECD Guideline 110. The proportion of test item having an inhalable particle size of less than 100 µm was determined to be 4.02%. The test item was therefore considered to be essentially non-inhalable. The particle size distribution was not determined for the respirable size range (<10 µm) due to very few particles present in the inhalable size range (<100 µm). Therefore, further testing was considered not necessary.
