* HPLC System: Agilent Technologies 1100, incorporating autosampler and workstation
* Column: Luna phenyl-hexyl 5µ (250 x 4.6 mm id)
* Column temperature: 40°C
* Mobile phase: methanol:water (55:45 v/v)
* pH of the mobile phase: 7.1, adjusted with 1M sodium hydroxide
* Flow-rate: 1.0 ml/min
* UV detector wavelength: 210 nm
* Injection volume: 10 µI

DETERMINATION OF DEAD TIME
Determined by measuring the retention time of formamide (purity* 99.94%, 603 mg/l solution in mobile phase).
