Description of key information

The water solubility of the test substance in reagent water at 20ºC was determined using the generator column method. The mean water solubility for XP-7866 at 20.0°C was 1.01 ± 0.12 mg/L (CV = 12%, N = 10).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
1.01 mg/L
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

Two experimental studies are currently available to assess the water solubility of 6H-Dibenz [c,e] [1,2] oxaphosphorin, 6,6'( 1 ,2-ethanediyl) bis-6,6'-dioxide. Both studies were performed using the column elution method.

Water solubility values are consistant between them.

* Study 1 (Repport N° 471C-137 -2011) =

The mean water solubility at 20.0 ± 0.1°C was 0.326 ± 0.010 mg of the substance/L (CV = 3.1%, N = 10).

* Study 2 (Repport N° 471C-133 -2012) =

The mean water solubility at 20.0°C was 1.01 ± 0.12 mg/L (CV = 12%, N = 10).
