Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The experimental study is waived.

The QSAR MPBPWIN v1.43 (Modified Grain Method, selected method out of 3 methods) predicts vapour pressure values at 25°C:

- 0.0036 Pa for the substance itself (key value); NB: the corresponding MW value is 222.24.

- of 0.00275 Pa for the most common impurity (supportive): residual raw material 3-phenoxypropane-1,2-diol (CAS 538-43-2); NB: the corresponding MW value is 168.19.

These values are acceptable for exposure assessment and classification and labelling. They evidence that inhalation exposure to the impurity is negligible (lower VP, lower MW, much lower concentration) when compared to the main component.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0.004 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C
