Description of key information
In accordance with section 1 of REACH (REGULATION (EC) No 1907/2006) Annex XI, the flammability (contact with water and pyrophoric properties of solids and liquids) studies (required in section 7.10) do not need to be conducted as experience in use and handling has shown that the substance does not possess these properties.
In accordance with section 2 of REACH (REGULATION (EC) No 1907/2006) Annex XI, the flammability (solids and gases) studies (required in section 7.10) do not need to be conducted as the substance is a liquid. The substance is only placed on the market in the form of an aqueous solution. Attempts to obtain a dry sample result in the formation of the lactone.
