Description of key information

The onset temperature at which an appreciable energy release (> 310 J/g) was found is 380 °C.

Thus, the test substance can be considered as thermal stable at room temperature.

Additional information

A study was conducted according to OECD 113 to determine the thermal stability of the test substance. The lowest onset temperature was observed at 195°C (first reaction, energy release 30 J/g), the second reaction showed an onset temperature of 380°C (>310 J/g). Therefore, according to the guideline criteria, the test substance was considered to be stable at room temperature.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Classification, Labelling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008

Based on the provisions laid down in Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, as amended for the sixth time in Regulation EC No 605/2014, the substance is not considered to be classified.
