Additional information

The substance was tested for its acute toxicity to fish (Rainbow trout, RedKilli fish, Zebrafish) according to the A-11 method, comparable to today’s OECD203 standard testing procedure published by the OECD.

Based on the weight of evidence approach, the LC50 range, collected from several available studies on the substance itself, is 0.63-6.3 mg/L.

However, based on the time of the exposure of the available studies, only one study can be considered with Klimish 2.

As a matter of fact, the LC50s of the fours studies were calculated at 48h instead of the 96 hours, as indicated into the OECD Guideline. The reliable 2 study reports an LC50 at 96 hours, on Zebrafish, of 4.62 mg/L.
