Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

According to column 2 of EC 1907/2006 Annex VIII the testing on “Adsoption/Desorption” does not need to be conducted if the substance has a low potential for adsorption (e.g. the substance has a low Kow) or if the substance and its degradation products decompose rapidly. Based on a measured log Kow ≤ 3 the potential for adsorption of the substance is quite low. Hence, testing of the adsorption and desorption is not required.

However, to estimate PNEC sediment and soil by the equilibrium partitioning method data of the sorption behaviour of the substance are needed. Since measured sorption values are not available for the substance the Koc was calculated using the QSAR tool EUSES.

Based on an experimental determined log Kow value of 2.73 the calculated log Koc value for the substance is 2.4 (corresponding Koc = 275 L/kg).
