Executive summary:

The particle size of FAT 40034 was determined in a study conducted according to the guidelines CIPAC MT 187 and ISO 13320 -1. Laser diffraction method was used for this purpose. Based on the findings of the study, L10, L50 and L90 for the test substance were determined to be 4.171, 119.378 and 626.829 µm, respectively. Hence, the median particle size (L50) of FAT 40034 was determined to be 119.378 µm.

Description of key information

The particle size of FAT 40034 was determined in a study conducted according to the guidelines CIPAC MT 187 and ISO 13320 -1. Laser diffraction method was used for this purpose. Based on the findings of the study, L10, L50and L90for the test substance were determined to be 4.171, 119.378 and 626.829 µm, respectively. Hence, the median particle size (L50) of FAT 40034 was determined to be 119.378 µm. This value is also considered as MMAD.
