Log Kow of the test substance has been experimentally determined to be 8.66 and the substance is not expected to be bioaccumulative because ECHA Guidance on Information Requirements and Chemical Safety Assessment Chapter R.11: PBT/vPvB assessment (Version 2.0; November 2014) states that, at very high Log Kow (> 6), a decreasing relationship between BCF and Log Kow is observed. This conclusion is underpinned by a calculated BCF of 517.7 L/kg wet weight for the test substance (BCFBAF v.3.01), which is below the level of 2000 L/kg where bioaccumulation becomes a concern. In addition the substance is readily biodegradable and of low water solubility (< 0.0114 mg/L) so no chronic exposure of aquatic organisms is expected.
