Any other information on results incl. tables
In the screening test according to Grewer, an onset of an exothermic reaction was evident from 220 °C upwards. The maximum temperature of the sample was approximately 500 °C. Therefore, a main test was carried out at lower temperatures. In the main test, an exothermic reaction was immediately observed upon reaching the storage temperature of 140 °C. The temperature of the sample reached approximately 155 °C.
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- On the basis of the results from the screening test and the main test, the test item does not need to be classified according to UN transport regulations.
- Executive summary:
Exothermic reactions were evident in the screening test and the main test but the temperatures reached were not sufficient for classification according to UN transport regulations.
