Results and discussion

Partition coefficient
Type:
Pow
Partition coefficient:
> 0.2
Temp.:
21 °C
Remarks on result:
other: exact value could not be determined (see below)
Details on results:
The test was carried out with presaturation with water and n-octanol. As the solubility in water was under the detection limit (< 0,1 mg/l) the determination of an exact value of the partition coefficient was not possible. The solubility of the test article in n-octanol was determined to be 0.16 mg/L.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The test was carried out with presaturation with water and n-octanol. As the solubility in water was under the detection limit (< 0,1 mg/l) the determination of an exact value of the partition coefficient was not possible. The solubility of the test article in n-octanol was determined to be 0.16 mg/L. Accordingly log Pow > 0.2
Executive summary:

The test was performed in tubes. at 21 'C. They were shaked by 120 rotations over five minutes. with a rotary shaker. They were then centrifuged at room temperature. The two phases. in each tube were sampled with a syringe and analysed by UV spectrophotometry..

Taking into account the result of the water solubility « 0.1 mg/I), only the determination of the solubility ot the test article in n-octanol was pertormed.

The test was carried out with presaturation of water and n -octanol. As no test article was detected in the aqueous phase the determination of an exact value of the partition coefficient was not possible.

The solubility of the test article in n-octanol was determined to be 0.16mg/1. Accordingly log Pow > 0.2
