Additional information

The acute toxicity of the test substance to fish was determined in a GLP-compliant test according to the OECD Guideline 203 (RCC, 2005).

In this study, Zebrafish (D. rerio; 7 per concentration) were exposed to nominal concentrations of 0 4.6, 10, 22, 46 and 100 mg /L for 96 hours under static conditions. Test substance recovery was in the range of 84-107% of nominal values. In the control and at the test concentration of 4.6 mg/L all fish survived until the end of the test and no visible abnormalities were observed at the test fish. At the next higher test concentration of 10 mg/L mortality and visible abnormalities were observed at some of the test fish. At all higher test concentrations all test fish were dead at the observation at day 1. Based on these findings, the 96 -h LC50 value was determined at 12 mg/L (nominal conc.).
