Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

The ready biodegradability of the test substance was determined in a GLP-compliant study according to OECD Guideline 301A (RCC, 2005). The initial test substance concentration was 100 mg/L based on DOC. Biodegradation of the test substance after 28 days was found to be 0%.

The inherent biodegradability of the test substance was determined in a GLP-compliant test according to OECD Guideline 302B (RCC, 2005). The initial test substance concentration was ca. 280 mg/L based on DOC. In this test the total elimination of test substance after 28 days (regarding adsorption and biodegradation) was 0 %. Based on these findings the substance can be regarded as non-biodegradable.
