PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
PBT assessment does not apply
Justification:

ECHA's Guidance on Information Requirements and Chemical Safety Assessment, Chapter R.11: PBT Assessment (2008d), page 12, states that “The PBT and vPvB criteria of Annex XIII to the Regulation do not apply to inorganic substances". Tungsten trioxide is an inorganic substance, and therefore the PBT and vPvB assessment is not required.

Likely routes of exposure:

Likely route of exposure is not required for tungsten trioxide, as it was not considered a PBT or vPvB substance.
