Description of key information

Tungsten trioxide is a solid yellowish powder with a melting and boiling point of 1472 and 1837°C, respectively; and a relative density between 7.16 -7.3 g/cm³. Tungsten metal has a low water solubility of 62 mg W/L (at a loading of 100 mg/L and pH of 8.5) as determined by the transformation/dissolution study, and a particle size distribution (D50= 28.32 µm) in the micro-sized range.
