The purpose of the study was to determine the density of test item titanium(IV)oxysulfate – sulphuric acid hydrate - (molecular formula TiOSO4 x H2SO4 x H2O; CAS No. 123334 -00 -9). The study followed the protocol as given by OECD Guideline 109.

The mean density for the two test series is: 2.0507 g/cm3. The relative density at ambient temperature (compared to water at 4 °C) is D4R=2.1. The ambient temperature was determined to be 22.6 C ± 0.2 °C.
