Additional information

One long term Daphnia study for Betaines, C12-14 (even numbered)-alkyldimethyl, EC No. 931-700-2 is available according to OECD 211 and GLP. The influence of Betaines, C12-14 (even numbered)-alkyldimethyl on the survival and reproduction of Daphnia magna was determined during an exposure period of 21 days. The 21-day NOEC was determined to be 10 mg test item/L (2.99 mg a.i./L) for reproduction and 32 mg test item/L (9.57 mg a.i./L) for survival of the adult test animals. The EC50 for the reproduction is 31.6 mg test item/L (9.45 mg a.i./L).
