Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, dry powder, foam or water spray, mist
extinguisher. Do not use water jets as these may spread the
fire base.

Product arising from burning: Combustion may release oxides of carbon and nitrogen and
sulfur. The chemical structure of the substance suggests
cyanide gas can be released during a fire.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (2.3.1)

Sweep up and collect in a suitably labelled container.
