Maximum concentration not causing irritating effects in preliminary test: 1 %

Signs of irritation during induction:
Slight erythema with necrosis at injection sites was
observed in test and control animals.

Evidence of sensitisation of each challenge concentration:
A positive response was seen in 1 animal challenged with
100% test substance.

Other observations:
Brown staining was noted on all dose sites, however, this
did not interfere with scoring.
