Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
• General information: In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately.
• After inhalation: Supply fresh air; consult doctor in case of complaints.
• After skin contact: Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. If skin irritation continues, consult a doctor.
• After eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. Seek immediate medical advice.
• After swallowing: Rinse out mouth and then drink plenty of water. Seek immediate medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
• Suitable extinguishing agents: CO2, powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray or alcohol resistant foam.
• Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: In case of fire, the following can be released: Ammonia, Nitrogen oxides (NOx).
• Protective equipment for firefighters: Wear self-contained respiratory protective device. Wear fully protective suit. No special measures required.
• Additional information: Collect contaminated firefighting water separately. It must not enter the sewage system.
Accidental release measures
• Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: The usual precautionary measures are to be adhered to when handling chemicals. Wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away. Avoid formation of dust. Use respiratory protective device against the effects of fumes/dust/aerosol.
• Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter sewers/surface or ground water. Do not allow to penetrate the ground/soil.
• Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Pick up mechanically. Prevent formation of dust. Send for recovery or disposal in suitable receptacles.
Handling and storage
Handling
• Precautions for safe handling: The usual precautionary measures are to be adhered to when handling chemicals. Wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away. Prevent formation of dust.
• Information about fire- and explosion protection: the product is not combustible. Formation of toxic gases is possible during heating or in case of fire.
Storage
• Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles: Store in a cool location.
• Information about storage in one common storage facility: Not required.
• Further information about storage conditions: Keep container tightly sealed. Store in dry conditions.

Exposure controls / personal protection
• Additional information about design of technical facilities: Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace.
• General protective and hygienic measures: The usual precautionary measures are to be adhered to when handling chemicals.
• Respiratory protection: Use respiratory protective device against the effects of fumes/dust/aerosol. Filter P3.
• Protection of hands: Protective gloves.
• Material of gloves: Nitrile rubber.
• Penetration time of glove material: >480 min (Thickness of glove material: 0.11 mm)
• Eye protection: Safety glasses
• Body protection: Protective work clothing
Stability and reactivity
• Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided: No decomposition is used according to specifications
• Hazardous decomposition products: No dangerous decomposition products known
Disposal considerations
• Waste treatment methods
Recommendation: Contact manufacturer for recycling information. Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
• Uncleaned packaging
Recommendation: Disposal must be made according to official regulations
