First-aid measures

Inhalation: Get victim to fresh air. Give artificial respiration or oxygen if breathing has stopped or is difficult. Get prompt medical attention. Do not give fluids if victim is unconscious.

Eyes:Immediately wash the eyes with flowing water for at least 15 minutes. Insure proper irrigation by occasionally lifting upper and lower eyelids. Thereafter seek prompt medical attention.

Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and wash affected areas with soap and plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If redness or skin irritation occurs, seek medical attention.

Ingestion: If ingested, do not induce vomiting. Get immediate medical assistance.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Use extinguishing measures to suit surroundings

Hazardous combustion products: In the event of fire the following can be released: Carbon monoxide (CO), Carbon dioxide (CO2), phosphorus oxides

Protective equipment: Use self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing.

Accidental release measures

Steps to be taken in case of spill or leak:

Wear suitable protective equipment. Ensure adequate ventilation. Sweep up or shovel into disposal containers using compatible equipment. Scoop up dry, product forms slippery surfaces with water. Use caution during cleanup operations to avoid falls. Do not allow to enter sewers, storm drains, surface waters or the soil.

Handling and storage

Advice on safe handling:

Avoid dust formation. Use only in well ventilated areas. Avoid breathing dust and contact with skin, eyes,and clothing. Wear personal protective equipment. Wash thoroughly after handling.
