- DIP/MS

A small amount of phosphorous acid put in the DIP probe and run with the above mentionned program clearly shows the formation of phosphine. The three solid dequest grades were run under simiilar conditions and the phosphine formation is possible at low level.

- ATD/GC/MS

The formation of phosphine was observed

Conclusions:
The test substance was observed to generate phosphine when heated to a high temperature of ~250°C.
