In a GLP-compliant study with FAT 40224/C, performed according to EU method A.10, the flammability of the test substance was determined. Hot platinum wire, approximately 1000 °C was used as a ignition source. Although the substance showed brief ignition, the flame extincted rapidly and no spreading of fire occured and therefore, no burning time could be obtained. Therefore, it could be concluded that the test substance is not highly flammable.

Description of key information
In a GLP-compliant study with FAT 40224/C, performed according to EU method A.10, the flammability of the test substance was determined. The test substance is considered to be not highly flammable, hence, it does not warrant classification according to the EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
