Additional information

In contact with water the test item shows slow hydrolysis. The half-life for hydrolysis was determined to be 607 h at 25°C. Thus the test substance may be considered hydrolytically stable.

According to the available biodegradation study, the test item is not readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.

At test termination after 28 days the substance was degraded by 0 - 10 %. Currently, the substance is onsidered as poorly biodegradable.

Under neutral conditions the adsorption coefficient of the test item was found to be log Koc = 1.9 and under alkaline conditions it was found to be log Koc = 1.8.

The calculated Henry's law constant of 0.00000000762 Pa-m³/mol suggests that the substance has a very low potential to evaporate from water surfaces to the air (EpiWin - HENRYWIN v3.20). The EpiWin suite of modelling programmes is adequately validated and therefore suitable for use.
