Description of key information

The oxidising properties study is waived as the screening procedure determined that the substances are incapable of reacting exothermically with

combustible materials on the basis of their chemical structures.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Based on the screening procedure (Chilworth Technology Ltd., 2010a), the chemical structures of the Resin acids and rosin acids, hydrogenated, esters with pentaerythritol do not contain any functional groups associated with oxidising properties.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The screening assessment indicates that Resin acids and rosin acids, hydrogenated, esters with pentaerythritol are not classified as oxidising.
