Additional information

In the non-GLP study from Branzi (2012) the particle size distribution of two production batches of Chloroacetamide were analysed by the sieving method using sieves from 40 to 400 µm and a Retsch sieving machine. One hundered g of the samples were sieved each for 5 minutes with an amplitude of 80. The weight of the sieving residue was determined for each sieve and batch. The amonut passing the 63 µm sieve was 0.1% for both batches. The D10, D50 and D90 values were determined graphically as > 100, > 200 and > 380 µm, respectively.

The results of this study are considered relevant and reliable for the risk assesment.
