PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

Not P/vP based on ready biodegradability:The test item attained 105% degradation after 28 days and satisfied the 10-Day window validation criterion, whereby 60% degradation must be attained within 10 days of the degradation exceeding 10%. The test item can therefore be considered to be readily biodegradable.

Conclusion on P / vP properties: not vP (and P):The substance does not fulfil the P- or vP-criterion.

Not B / vB based on Log Kow <= 4.5:The partition coefficient of the test item has been determined to be 24.4, log10Pow 1.39.

Conclusion on B / vB properties:The substance does neither fulfil the B- nor the vB-criterion.

T based on toxicity conclusions: The substance is classified for repeated specific target organ toxicity.

Conclusion on T properties: It therefore has to be regarded to fulfil the T- criterion according to Annex XIII of the REACH regulation.

Summary and overall Conclusions on PBT or vPvB Properties

The substance has to be regarded as toxic. It thus fulfils the T-criterion. It does not fulfil the P- or B-criterion. In conclusion, it does not have to be classified as PBT or vPvB.
