Description of key information

The lethal concentration (LC50) value of 3-amino-4-hydroxybenzenesulphonic acid in fish (Cyprinodon variegatus) in a 96 hr study on mortality effect was estimated to be 242.211mg/L.Thus,considering the CLP Criteria for aquatic classification of the substance , it is concluded that 3-amino-4-hydroxybenzenesulphonic acid does not exhibit short term toxicity to fish [Cyprinodon variegatus].
