When swallowed seek medical aid immediately and show the physician the packaging or the label of the packaging.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: water mist, foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder

Specific hazards during fire fighting:

In case of fires, hazardous combustion gases are formed: Carbon monoxide (CO), Carbon dioxide (CO2).

Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Impermeable protective clothing (jacket and trousers) with helmet.

Use self-contained breathing apparatus.

Further information: Fire residues and contaminated firefighting water must be disposed of in accordance with the local regulations.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Wear personal protective equipment. Unprotected persons must be kept away.

Environmental precautions: Do not allow entry to drains, water courses or soil.

Methods for cleaning up: Pick up with absorbent material (eg sand, kieselgur, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust).

Clean contaminated floors and objects thoroughly with water and detergents, observing environmental regulations.

When picked up, treat material as prescribed under heading "Disposal".

Containers in which spilt substance has been collected must be adequately labelled.

Exposure controls / personal protection

During its lifecycle the substance is handled under strictly controlled conditions and is rigorously contained.

Based on the knowledge of the basic hazards to humans and environment techical, organizational and PPE

measures are taken to minimize release and exposure of this substance. National regulatory requirements for the

handling of chemicals are also fulfilled. Employees are regularly trained. The efficiency of these measures is

controlled e.g. by workplace measurements. In case of deviations these measures are adapted.

Stability and reactivity

When handled and stored appropriately no dangerous reactions are known.

Disposal considerations

Product: In accordance with regulations for special waste, must be taken to an authorised special waste incineration plant.

Contaminated packaging: Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of as product waste.
